MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Students at Miami-Dade College’s North Campus will have a little extra vacation over the Memorial Day weekend after all classes and activities were cancelled Friday at the campus.

The school said the cancellations came after similar action was taken late Thursday due to problems with the campus’ municipal water supply.

The school said classes and activities at the Carrie P. Meek Center and other campuses of the school are not impacted by the closures and will be operating under regular schedules.

Miami-Dade College said the North Campus should resume all normal activities on Tuesday, May 28.
