New Monitors Help Metrorail Riders Track Trains

MIAMI (CBS4) – The next time you hop a ride on the Metrorail, you may notice something different at the station.

Miami-Dade Transit has installed LCD screens at several stops to give commuters real-time information about arrive and departure times.

The monitors show times as far ahead as three trains and will show which trains serve the green and orange lines. The green line goes to Dadeland South, the orange line goes to Miami International Airport.

The screens will also alert passengers if there are any delays or disruptions in service.
