MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A wind swept fire heavily damaged three homes in Key Largo on Sunday.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Ocean Reef firefighters were sent to battle a house fire on Garden State Lane near Mile Marker 103.

When they arrived they found that the wind had spread the flames to two adjacent homes.  Key Largo Fire and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue fire crews  assisted in battling the flames.

The sheriff’s office said all the houses were unoccupied. No there no reports of any injuries.
