2 Adults, Child Hurt After Being Struck By Car In Pompano Beach
POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – Three people, including a 2-year-old boy, were hospitalized Wednesday after being struck by a car in Pompano Beach.
According to city spokeswoman Sandra King, a man, woman and child were pinned up against a guardrail after being hit by the vehicle at 532 SW 2nd Street.
The two adults were transported to Broward Health North in critical condition while the child was airlifted to Broward Health General, also in critical condition, said King.
Their identifies are not known.
The driver, Sharoya Rucker, 19, is in custody and faces one count of attempted murder and four counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
