Accident Involving Multiple Cars Leaves Man Dead
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An accident involving multiple cars early Saturday afternoon left one man dead.
The accident took place shortly after noon, near the intersection of SW 72nd Street and SW 134th Avenue.
A woman driving a blue Volkswagen Jetta was traveling eastbound on Sunset at a high rate of speed, according to Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta. The Jetta sideswiped a black Hyundai, causing it to spin out of control and hit a tree, he said.
The 27-year-old man driving the Hyundai was already dead when officials reached the scene.
Both drivers involved have yet to be identified.
