The dunks have sparked some controversy among some fans who want LeBron to enter the Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend. LeBron tweeted a few days ago that he was thinking about stopping the pre-game dunking due to the "outcry."

But by Thursday, LeBron was taking a different tone. He said that it was actually Mario Chalmers who came up with the idea for the contest and told Ethan Skolnick of the Palm Beach Post that, "We are going to keep doing it."

LeBron continued telling Skolnick, "It just happened. I don't need props and capes and cheerleaders to walk out with me. I just do it."

LeBron's Heat teammate Dwyane Wade summed up the entire event thusly, "Come out to Miami if you want to see. Get a ticket."
