Fiery Accident Jams Turnpike Near Golden Glades

MIAMI (CBS4) - A two-car accident involving a truck and an 18-wheeler on the Florida Turnpike sent flames shooting into the air after both vehicles caught fire.

The accident jammed the turnpike in both directions just after the Turnpike Extension near the Golden Glades.

The trailer reportedly had cardboard in the back which was helping fuel the fire.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Broward Fire Rescue had units on the scene trying to extinguish the blaze.
