LeBron Once Again Eastern Conf. Player Of The Week

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat All-Star forward LeBron James was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for last week's games, the fifth Player of the Week honor for James this season.

LeBron led the Heat to a 4-0 record while averaging 23.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 2.25 steals and shot 59 percent from the field. James had at least a double-double in every game and one triple-double during the week of games.

James has hit for at least 50 percent of his shots in 13 straight games, which is a career-high for the Heat's version of the Human Highlight Reel, all due respect to the original, Dominique Wilkins.

Overall, James has been named Player of the Week 42 times in his career, the most of any player in NBA history. As a member of the Heat, James has been selected Player of the Week a team record 16 times.

LeBron is averaging 27 points, 7.1 assists, 1.7 steals and is shooting 57 percent from the field on the season.
