Zoo Miami Postpones Sold Out "Sex & The Animals" Presentation

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – If you have tickets to Zoo Miami's hugely popular and sold-out "Sex & the Animals" Valentine's presentation, it has been postponed due to the severe threat of inclement weather.

The presentation will now take place on Sunday, February 17th at 7:30 p.m..

All tickets sold will be honored for that day so there is no need to call if you plan to attend.

However, if you cannot attend on Sunday, you must call the Zoological Society of Florida at (305) 255-5551 by 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 15th in order to get a full refund.

Since this is a "sold out" show, Zoo Miami needs to know how many tickets will become available due to cancellations by Friday afternoon so that they can be sold to others who were unable to buy tickets initially.

Tickets are $35.00 for non-members and $30.00 for members.

Zoo Miami released a statement that read, "We sincerely apologizes for this inconvenience but thought it was the prudent thing to do as there isn't an area within the zoo where 500 people could take shelter should it rain during the program.  Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated."
