MIRAMAR (CBS4) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man wanted for sexually abusing a teenage girl who is a distant relative.

They say Bao Le, 33, would climb through an unlocked window at the girl’s home in Miramar and hide in her closet until she and her family were asleep.

The victim told investigators that Le molested her more than a half dozen times over a year long period.

It all ended last May when the girl’s Aunt caught him hiding in the teen’s closet.  When Police later went to question him about what he was doing there, they say he said he simply needed a place to sleep.

“A normal person doesn’t sleep in a little girl’s closet,” said Deputy U.S. Marshal Barry Golden.

Miramar Detectives didn’t have enough to charge him with the alleged crimes at the time of his interview and let him go.

After that, Bao Le fled and hasn’t been seen since.

He’s wanted on charges of sexual battery on a child and lewd and lascivious molestation.
