Low-Cost Pet Vaccinations Offered In Broward Saturday

BROWARD (CBSMiami) – A Saturday event hosted by Broward County Animal Care and Adoption will provide a money-saving opportunity for pet owners.

The organization will host a rabies clinic, during which dogs and cats can get vaccinated against rabies and receive a Broward County Pet Registration tag, reports CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald.

The clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park, 2520 NW Sixth St. in Fort Lauderdale. Information about other animal care, adoption programs and services will also be available.

The one-year rabies vaccination and registration tag is $15 per pet and only cash payments will be accepted.

No appointment is necessary, but pet owners must provide proof of Broward County residency. Pets will be taken on a first come, first served basis. All dogs must be on leashes and all cats must be in carriers.
