PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Pembroke Pines police are searching for a trio of brazen smash and grab bandits who targeted an AT&T store and got away with thousands in merchandise.

Police say three men slammed a vehicle into a large glass window at the store in the 11000 block of Pines Boulevard early Thursday morning.

“I can’t believe it it’s horrible. There are just horrible people in the world,” said one store customer as glass company workers made quick work of repairing the damage left behind.

The bandits got away with nearly $5,000 worth of merchandise but police hope they’ll catch them pretty quick because surveillance video recorded the criminals in action.

That video should be released Thursday afternoon which police hope will lead them to the suspects.
