Miami finished off the Wolfpack with less than one second left in the game on Saturday when center Reggie Johnson tipped in a missed shot to give the Canes a 79-78 victory over NC State. The win pushed Miami’s conference record in 2013 to 8-0.
More importantly, the victory for the Canes gave Miami a cushion of two games in the battle for the ACC regular season title.
