MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Another 79 guns are off the streets of Miami following the second gun buyback event of the year.

Saturday, the City of Miami held its gun buyback event at St. John Baptist Church in Overtown.

During the 4-hour event, 79 guns were turned in, no questions asked, including 2 AK-47s and an M-14. Those who dropped off a weapon received Miami Heat tickets, or their choice of gift certificates to Winn Dixie Supermarkets or Walmart.

One week earlier, 130 guns were collected at the Model City NET in Liberty City.

The next gun buyback event will be held Saturday, February 3rd at San Juan Bosco Catholic Church, located at 1301 West Flagler Street, in Little Havana from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone turning in what police determine to be an "assault rifle" will receive two premium 100 level Miami Heat tickets for a weekend game in the month of March.
