SoBe Restaurant Conquers "Feeding The Beasts" Ahead Of BCS

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A South Beach restaurant has taken on the monumental task of feeding the members of Alabama and Notre Dame football teams ahead of the big BCS championship game.

Brazilian churrascaria Fogo De Chao brought out the big guns, meat wise, when the Notre Dame men came to call on Thursday.

"There ain't nothing better than a steakhouse!  Check me out!" commented one player.

Fogo De Chao general manager Lendro De Pupo said a lot of prep work went into getting ready for the "beasts", some of them 300 pound linemen!

"We put about two pounds each per person," De Pupo told CBS4's David Sutta.

They give the players a variety of 15 different meats, not to mention the abundant salad bar and rolls.

The resturant employs a "red means stop" and "green means go" with all their guests, in the form of a card with the colors on each side.

Sutta asked De Pupo, ""Last night how much of this did you see?"

De Pupo reploed, "Always green."

Alabama will partake in the feast on Friday night.
