Driver Killed When Car Collides With Train In Pompano Beach
POMPANO BEACH (CBS4)- Broward Sheriff's Office investigators are trying to determine how an Amtrak train and a car collided Wednesday in Pompano Beach, killing the motorist.
BSO spokesperson Veda Coleman-Wright said the accident happened near Sample Road and Military Trail just after 5:30 p.m.
While officials investigated, East and westbound lanes of Sample Road west of I-95 were shut down.
The person who was killed has not been identified.
