Citrix Named Among "50 Best Places To Work In 2013"

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – When a company gets referrals from its employees to work there, it's perhaps the most telling measure of how that company treats its own.

If you believe that's the case, then Fort Lauderdale-based Citrix just won the "granddaddy of referrals" award.

The tech company was named to Glassdoor.com's "50 Best Places to Work in 2013" list, which was released Tuesday. And 85 percent of employees giving feedback say they would recommend the company.

The "Best Places" list ranks companies with at least 1,000 employees that had at least 25 "reviews" with top ratings during the year. Glassdoor.com is a website where employees anonymously review their companies, which can be a valuable tool for job-seekers.

According to Lenny Chesal, president of the South Florida Technology Alliance, Citrix is a company where workers genuinely seem to be happy.

"It would be a great stamp to have on your resume," he told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

The company also placed on Forbes' list of the world's most innovative companies.
