Cops Arrest Naked Man, Find Pot Plants In Front Of Home

DELRAY BEACH (CBSMiami) – The arrest of naked man running around his Delray Beach neighborhood led to police to at least four marijuana plants he was growing in front of his home.

Police were called to the 2500 block of Albatross Road after Raymond Schmamis' neighbors called them to say he was naked and throwing stuff out of his home and running around naked, according to the Sun-Sentinel. When officers arrived, Schamis, 41, reportedly charged at them and tried to break the windows on a patrol car.

When officers checked out the front of Schamis home, they reportedly found a ladder, a CO2 tank and some credits scattered around the pot plants which were in "clear view" from the yard.

Inside the residence, they found 19 bags of marijuana in various rooms and more than $5,000 in safe in a bedroom.

Schamis, who was charged of manufacturing marijuana, is being held on $6,000 bond.

The Sun-Sentinel contributed to this report.
