World Of Beer Opening In Kendall On December 3

KENDALL (CBSMiami) – Beer lovers, picture this: 50 rotating taps from around the world and more than 500 different bottles of alcohol, served to the sounds of local live music.

World Of Beer will deliver it all when the franchise opens its Kendall store at The Palms at Town & Country.

The South Florida Business Journal reports the store will be the chain's 34th store.

The new, 3,160-square-foot location will be at 8525 Mills Drive, Suite 302, and employ about 35 people. The bar will open on Dec. 3, with grand opening festivities including raffle prizes and live music.

World of Beer at Kendall will focus solely on craft beer and will allow patrons to place orders from local restaurants.

World of Beer partnered with local restaurants including Outback Steakhouse, Moe's Southwest Grill, CG Burgers, Carmine's La Trattoria Restaurant, Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant, La Fogata and Sushi Maki of Kendall.

The bar was founded in Tampa in 2007. Within five years its franchise has spread to 11 states, with locations soon to follow in Evanston, Ill., Cleveland, Ohio, and Dallas.
