Bizarre Naked Chase Lands Pasco Man In Jail

TARPON SPRINGS (CBSMiami) - Abraham Luna was arrested with his boots on...and nothing else...after a bizarre nude dash through a Tarpon Springs golf course, a naked confrontation in a 7-Eleven, and an attack on a deputy's car. Nobody knows why except Luna, and he's not talking.

The nude dash started Monday evening, after police in the Pasco County community reported complaints about a naked bald man who was running through the golf course, and was now headed into Pasco County.

The man, later identified as Luna, was spotted by a deputy who tried to pull him over after he was spotted driving without lights well after midnight. Luna, at the wheel, sped off.

He was eventually spotted at a 7-Eleven store, where still completely nude, he allegedly attacked an employee. He was chased off to his van, where still naked, deputies said he tried to attack the store, break into a parked car, and again sped away without lights.

Another deputy spotted Luna's lightless car but lost him. He was finally stopped when eventually the van rammed another patrol car.

Luna was arrested, the deputy unhurt, but charged with a host of crimes including attempted auto burglary, aggravated assault, battery, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, aggravated fleeing to elude, resisting without violence, driving while license revoked and violation of probation.

He was booked into the Pasco County jail, where he finally had his nakedness covered by jail togs.He was apparently no charged simply for being naked on the streets and behind the wheel.
