LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – Broward County election department workers will tackle provisional ballots on Thursday as they move toward closing out the November General Election.

Some voters in the county are still annoyed that they had to stand in long lines and then face delays in scanning their ballots because their precinct only had one ballot scanning machine. Broward County Supervisor of Elections Dr. Brenda Snipe defended her department’s actions and said predicting turnout from precinct to precinct is difficult.

Snipes added that the length of the ballot also contributed to the delays.
