Teen In Hospital After Being Hit By Car On Hollywood Street

HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) - A 16 year old boy was taken the hospital after he was hit by a car while attempting to cross the street.

From Chopper4 a burgundy sedan was seen surrounded by police tape on Sheridan Street just west of Dixie Highway. The car's windshield was cracked and what is thought to be blood is visible on the sidewalk.

Authorities say the teen was taken by ambulance to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the car is being questioned.
