"Neighbors" Kicks Off 2012 Adopt-A-Family Program

MIAMI (CBS4) – Now that Halloween has come and gone, the holidays will soon be here.

One of the great ways to help a local family in need this season is through Neighbors 4 Neighbors Adopt A Family 4 The Holidays program.

You can do it on your own, with a group of friends or even get your business involved.

Getting started is easy – it's just a click away. To register go to neighbors4neighbors.org.

Once there you can learn how to donate toys and gift cards through Neighbors 4 Neighbors to help some of the community's most vulnerable have a happy holiday.

For more than two decades, the Neighbors 4 Neighbors Adopt A Family 4 The Holidays program has served hundreds of thousands of families. Last year, thanks to generous donations, the program was able brighten the holidays for more than 360 families.
