BSO Seeks Sunglass-Wearing Motel Robbery Suspects

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – The Broward Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public to find two sunglass wearing robbery suspects who held up the night clerk at a South Florida motel.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, two men walked into the Executive Economy Lodge located 555 S. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach around 10:40 p.m. on October 15th.

Despite the night darkness, both men were wearing sunglasses.

The front office clerk was sitting in the lobby when the men walked in. She quickly made her way behind the counter to assist them. At first the suspects requested a room, but then they demanded money. The victim said one of the men held a small gun pointed at her, while the other held open a plastic bag for her to deposit the money.

After they had all the cash in the bag, one suspect sprayed a substance on the victim's face. The robbers fled on foot.

Both suspects are black males in their 20s, measuring about 5'9" in height. One wore a blue shirt, khaki shorts, had a beard, a low haircut and had on dark shades. The second suspect wore a gray shirt, dark jeans, had a low haircut and wore red-framed sunglasses.
