Man Gunned Down In Front Of Miami Home

MIAMI (CBS4) – Miami police are trying to figure out what led to a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning.

Some time after 2 a.m., shots rang out in the 1100 block of NW 34th Avenue. A neighbor called 911 and when police arrived they found 48-year old Carlos Amore who had been shot multiple times in front of his home.

That man was rushed to the Ryder Trauma Center where he died.

CBS4's Kara Kostanich spoke with Rene Rogue, Amore's father. He said his son lived in the house with his mother. He was apparently on his way to work when he was shot.

"If he had any enemies he never told me," said Rene Rogue, Amore' father.

Amore has a child here in the U.S. and three more in Cuba.
