Tropical Storm Patty Weakens, Stationary NE Of Bahamas
MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Tropical Storm Patty remains planted northeast of the Bahamas, with little change in strength since forming Thursday morning.
At 11 p.m. Friday, the center of T.S. Patty was about 265 miles east-northeast of the central Bahamas.
Maximum sustained winds were 35 mph with higher gusts.
The storm was stationary. The National Hurricane Center forecast calls for the storm to weaken slowly over the next 48 hours.
T.S. Patty is forecast to slowly move southwest on Saturday before degenerating into a remnant low before Sunday.
