JetBlue Offering Election Protection To Both Candidate's Supporters

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Celebrities and political pundits often say that if their candidate of choice doesn't win an election, they are leaving the country. If you feel the same way, JetBlue has a new promotion that could help you leave town whether President Barack Obama or Mitt Romney win.

JetBlue is running what it calls "election protection" ahead of the November 6th presidential election.

Customers will cast their vote on jetblue.com and then on November 7th, when America knows who the president is [hopefully…don't forget Florida in 2000], JetBlue will take the votes of the candidate who lost and give away 1,006 roundtrip tickets to help them leave the country (and return).

JetBlue said the tickets are good for roundtrip travel for any of 21 international destination including: Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, and the Turks & Caicos.
