Miami-Dade Goes Pink In October

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Miami-Dade County government is going pink - literally.

Miami-Dade Police Department vehicles, waste management garbage truck, and a Metrobus have all been painted pink in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The Stephen P. Clark Center Lobby will also be pink throughout the month of October.

Jackson Memorial Hospital will unveil its new Mobile Mammogram Unit., which will offer mammograms for county employees every Thursday in October.
