Man On Video Returns Missing Dog To Miami Family

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida family has been reunited with its beloved dog after a man was caught on surveillance video reportedly stealing the puppy from their front yard.

In the video, the man is seen getting out of a white SUV and scooping up the small white dog, which was standing in driveway of the home on the 100 block of Northwest 165 Street.

The man is seen approaching the home's front door and looking around, before turning and walking away with the 9 month old dog under his arm.

One day later, the Faulk family said the Maltese pup named "Lebron" was returned by the same man seen in the surveillance video.

The man, by the name of Tony Williams, said his coworkers prompted him to return the dog after watching the video on the news.

They said Williams didn't steal the dog. He just took the dog off the street because he didn't want "Lebron" to get hit by a car.

The family gave him $100 for the dog's safe return.
