First Lady Michelle Obama Planning S. Fla. Visit Wednesday
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – South Florida is in for a visit from the First Lady this week.
Michelle Obama will travel to South Florida to speak to grassroots supporters in Fort Lauderdale.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the First Lady will preach the campaign's new It Takes One effort, which encourages supporters to help grow the campaign's grassroots network between now and November.
She'll appear at the War Memorial Auditorium at 800 NE 8th Street. It's free and open to the public, however, tickets are required due to limited space.
Those tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, at the following Organizing for America office locations:
- Hollywood, 2001 Tyler Street #8
- Lauderhill, 3300 Inverrary Boulevard Suite #300
- Fort Lauderdale, 1033 NW 6th Street #103
- Wilton Manors, 612 NE 26th Street
