Strip Club Sues 'Octomom' For Cancelling Show
MIAMI, Fla. (CBSMiami) – Nadya Suleman better known as "Octomom" is facing a lawsuit after she backed out of a deal to dance topless at multiple shows at a West Palm Beach strip club.
Octomom said her cancelling the shows came after statements she heard in interviews from T's Lounge employees done by CBS affiliate WPEC.
T's Lounge has sued Suleman who had made agreements to dance topless in eight shows in order to keep her from appearing at a competing club. Suleman has a performance scheduled for Friday at the Playhouse Gentleman's Club in Hollywood.
Even though no hearing has been set, Suleman has been summoned to appear in court.
Phone and e-mail messages were left for Gina Rodriguez, Suleman's spokesperson but were never returned Tuesday.
In April, Suleman, a 24-year-old mother of 14 young children, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, claiming she is up to $1 million in debt.
