Arsenio Hall Returning To Late Night Talk

NEW YORK (CBSMiami) -- Arsenio Hall is returning to late night TV. He made the announcement Monday night on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."

"I am returning to CBS to the exact place to the exact place I did the Arsenio Hall Show and I'm doing the Arsenio Hall Show again," he announced.

Hall is best known for hosting the Emmy Award-winning "Arsenio Hall Show," which ran from 1989 to 1994. That show's place in pop-culture history was clinched in 1992 when then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton appeared and played "Heartbreak Hotel" on the saxophone.

Besides his work as a talk show host, Arsenio Hall was in the 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy "Coming to America" and was a regular on the CBS series "Martial Law" in the late 1990s.

Arsenio recently regained popularity on the latest edition of "Celebrity Apprentice," which he won.

CBS Television Distribution said the show is set to debut in the fall of 2013.
