COCONUT CREEK (CBS Miami) – If you think you look like one of America’s most loved comedians Lucille Ball then you may want to head to the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek this Friday.

As part of their month long tribute to the 1950’s pop culture icon on June 15th they’ll be staging a look-a-like contest starting at 8p.m.

Contestants will compete for $1500 in cash and prizes while celebrating the iconic actress and comedian.

Participants will be judged on their overall look and authenticity of portraying the comedic character.

“Lucy” as she is known to many, was the star of I Love Lucy, which was the top rated show for years.

She was nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, winning four, and received many honors. Among her prestigious awards was the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kennedy Center Honors in 1986 and the Governors Award.

The competition is open to all who hold a Seminole Player’s Club Card, which is free to guests 21 and older. On the day of competition, the Lucy look-a-likes must between 6:30p.m. -7:45 p.m.
