Report: Miami Beach Home Once Owned By Versace Up For Sale

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – The one-time home of the late Gianni Versace, Casa Casuarina, has once again been placed up for sale and can be yours for the mind-boggling price of just $125 million.

According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, the home was listed Friday morning by realtors Jill Hertzberg & Jill Eber.

The home is located at 1116 Ocean Drive and was built in 1930. When Versace bought it in 1992, he spent $33 million expanding the property, according to the Herald.

The home has 10 bedrooms, 11 baths, a 54-foot mosaic pool lines in 24-karat gold and has statues and frescoes throughout the property, according to the Herald.

Versace only lived in the home for five years before being murdered in front of the house in 1997.
