Redland's Winery Hosts Pet Speed Dating Event

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Do you consider yourself a strong believer in love at first sight?  Looking for a new love of your life which is also furry and has four paws?

Well this Sunday at the Schnebly Redland's Winery & Brewery, located at 30205 S.W. 217 Avenue in Homestead, you may find exactly what you are looking for at their first ever Pet Speed Dating Event from noon to 5 p.m.

The breathtaking landscape will provide the perfect scenery for sparks to fly.  Guests will get some time to mingle with their prospective 'new loves' with the assistance of their 'matchmakers', a.k.a the Animal Services volunteers.  There will also be a silent auction.

All bids will cover the cost of the pet adoption including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, microchip and registration.

The loving adoptable pets are being provided by the Miami-Dade Animal Services.

Each year, Animal Services receives over 30,000 pets. The goal of this event is to increase pet adoptions and community awareness and involvement with the shelter.
