Dolphins Prepare For Rookie Mini-Camp Friday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Now that the NFL Draft is behind them, the Miami Dolphins will hold their first rookie mini-camp Friday to give those draft picks and undrafted free agents their first taste of the NFL.

The Dolphins will have their draft picks in camp including: quarterback Ryan Tannehill, defensive end Olivier Vernon, running back Lamar Miller, tight end Michael Egnew and other picks at the facility to hear from head coach Joe Philbin.

Also coming to the rookie mini-camp will be former University of Miami quarterback Jacory Harris. Jacory will probably not make the Fins roster with Tannehill, David Garrard, Matt Moore and Pat Devlin already in house.

One of Tannehill's favorite targets at Texas A&M, wide receiver Jeff Fuller will also get look by the Dolphins. Fuller caught 63 passes for 709 yards and five touchdowns last season with the Aggies.

The Dolphins have yet to release a list of undrafted rookie free agents the team has signed, but CBS4 news partner put together a list of players who will be at camp this week.

Other undrafted rookies expected to attend next week's minicamp: Notre Dame running back Jonas Gray; Pittsburgh defensive tackle Chas Alecxih; Arizona State linebacker Shelly Lyons; Portland State offensive lineman Dustin Waldron; Missouri defensive end Jacquies Smith; Hampton cornerback Micah Pellerin; Boise State defensive end Jarrell Root; University of Massachusetts offensive lineman Josh Samuda; BYU center Terence Brown; Washington inside linebacker Cort Dennison; and Rhode Island guard Kyle Bogomil, Arkansas State safety Kelcie Gray and Purdue linebacker Albert Evans.
