Bravo's "Brad" In Town For Book Signing

MIAMI (CBS4) – Brad Goreski is a super stylist to the stars.

Dressing some of the biggest celebrity names, Goreski first arrived on the scene as Rachel Zoe's assistant on the hit Bravo TV show "The Rachel Zoe Project." He was then spun off into his own show "It's A Brad, Brad World."  Goreski credits Zoe for teaching him the ropes.

"She was such a great boss and is so fun to be around. I really owe much of my success to her," said Goreski.

"I hear you're not speaking," said CBS4"s Lisa Petrillo.

"I would be happy to be talk to her, she's not talking to me and that's okay," said Goreski.

What Goreski "IS" talking about now is his new book "Born To Be Brad" which takes a look at this road to success.

"I wanted to show the fans who watched me on Rachel's show and on my show that no matter how much adversity you have in your life, you can create your dream life," said Goreski.

Goreski said that dream hasn't come easy for him. He admits to having a problem with drugs and alcohol and realized ten years ago he had to make a change.

"I realized I can either continue on this path and accept this is gonna be my life or I can get sober and see what I can achieve in my life," said Goreski.

Goreski said, believe it or not, his passion started out with a his Barbie doll.

"I always did her hair two ways; "braided" and "up-do," and she was going somewhere super fancy. If I lost one of her shoes I screamed bloody murder," he recalled. "Now I get to work with the most beautiful women in world, who goes to awards shows and premieres. I credit Barbie with my encouraging my imagination."

Goreski said he loves the way women in Miami freely show skin color and have fun.

Goreski will be signing his new book "Born to be Brad" at Book and Books on Lincoln Road on Miami Beach, Thursday night at 7 p.m.
