MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Marlins fans looking to see Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, and others in action at the new Marlins Park should circle Saturday on the calendar.

That’s the day single-game tickets go on sale for the entire regular season of games at Marlins Park. The team will play 81 games at the new stadium, giving everyone a great opportunity to take in the new taxpayer paid for stadium.

The Marlins open the season against the St. Louis Cardinals in a one-night series set for ESPN. But getting a ticket to that game might prove incredibly difficult.

The Marlins have said that at least 87,000 people have signed up for a lottery to buy the remaining tickets for the opener that haven’t been claimed by season-ticket holders.
