South Florida Shivering Before Gradual Warm Up

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – South Florida woke up shivering Monday but temperatures are expected to climb by the afternoon.

Some inland area temperatures dipped down to the low 40s Monday while most of Miami-Dade and Broward woke up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.

By Monday afternoon, temperatures are expected to climb to near 70-degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.

There is a low chance of rain, 10-percent for Monday, predicted to go no higher than 20 percent during the week.

Monday night, it's expected to drop as low as 55 followed by milder temperatures the rest of the week.

Tuesday will be a bit warmer with temperatures in the upper 70s.

Highs will be back into the 80s by the middle to the end of the week with a few showers.
