“First, we would like to thank the Miami-Dade fire department for its quick response to the fire at the West Kendall Center Michaels. We believe everyone was able to get out of the building safely and we’re working to learn if anyone was injured. The store will remain closed until we are sure the building is structurally sound and we are able to make any necessary repairs. In the meantime, we are happy to serve our area customers at our other two Miami locations.”
