Obama-Masked Gunman Robs S. Fla. Restaurant

RIVIERA BEACH (CBSMiami) — Barack Obama is a wanted man, sort of. A man wearing a mask of the President robbed a South Florida McDonald's and police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

According to the Riviera Beach Police Department, the masked man walked into the fast food restaurant Saturday Jan. 28th, around 6:20 a.m., pulled out a gun and ordered everyone into a back office.

He then ordered the manager to remove money from the safe and put it in a cloth bag that the suspect brought with him.

Before he left, the gunman threatened to shoot the victims if they did not remain in the office.

He got away with about $1,000.

Police say the suspect was about 6-feet tall, 170 pounds, and wore all black clothing and white gloves. He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Riviera Beach Police Department at 561-845-4123 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
