Multiple Injuries In Miami Metrobus Accident

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Multiple people have been injured in a bus accident near NW 17th Avenue and 17th Street in Miami Tuesday afternoon.

The accident involved a Miami-Dade County Metrobus and a Federal Express truck. Several people could be seen from Chopper 4 being treated and one victim was pulled through a side window of the bus.

According to Lt. Iganatius Carroll of Miami Fire Rescue, around five to 10 people were injured during the accident.

The accident appeared to have knocked out at least one window from the Federal Express truck and another from the bus.

According to Miami Police, the FedEx truck has been cited for running a red light.
