Something Extra: Who Has the Worst Yearbook Picture?

MIAMI (CBS4) - Yearbook pictures.  Most of us probably wish we'd never had them taken, especially those of us who had the misfortune of going to high school in the fashion-challenged seventies.

The presidential candidates are no exception.

Pictures of the ones who grew up in the fifties and early sixties aren't too bad.  Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, and Rick Perry's are what you'd expect for the era: they're typically clean cut.

Newt Gingrich looks a bit intense with his glasses, but not bad.

Unfortunately, that can't be said for the younger candidates, victims of the seventies.

Jon Huntsman, then an aspiring rocker, and Barack Obama, both had some serious hair in questionable attempts at being too cool for school.

But then there's the truly tragic.  Words can't do justice to Rick Santorum's.

And, who am I to speak?  My law school graduation picture is a nightmare.

I can't believe I let my producer put it on the air.

So to all of you watching: beware yearbook photos.  They can haunt you forever.
