NW Dade Boil Water Order Lifted

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – A boil water order for a Miami-Dade county neighborhood has been lifted.

On Friday, a precautionary boil water was issued following a 12-inch water main break in the area of NW 36th Street and 37th Avenue. The intersection was closed with the exception of one eastbound lane on NW 36th Street for the day.

In order to make repairs, crews shut down water in the area which led to a loss of pressure in the system.

On Saturday the pipe was fixed and the road was repaired.

Businesses located on NW 36th Street between 36th and 38th Avenues, including the Pinnacle Plaza, a condominium community and the Fronton Trailer Park, were affected.
