Ft. Lauderdale Boil Water Order Lifted
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – One Ft. Lauderdale neighborhood can now drink up.
A precautionary boil water notice issued Sunday evening for a two block area in the eastern section of the city has been lifted. The boil water order was issued after a 6-inch water main break which occurred on N.E. 33rd Avenue between N.E. 28th and N.E. 29th Streets.
During the warning period, all tap water used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking or other consumption had to be brought to a rapid boil for at least one minute. The Tap water was okay for washing and bathing.
