Report: Woman Calls 911 For Eating Too Much

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – A Fort Pierce woman apparently took the term all-you-can-eat a little too seriously and felt that she had an emergency on her hands; so she decided to call 911.

The woman, Mary Lisee, 45, called 911 to tell them that she "had eaten too much."

While overeating can be tough on your stomach and on your waistline, calling 911 to report that you ate too much is much tougher on your freedom.

According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, when Port St. Lucie Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the Travelers Inn where Lisee was staying they said she was "jumping up and down and yelling."

Lisee was arrested and booked on charges of disorderly conduct and a misuse of 911.
