Fins Place Koa Misi On Injured Reserve

DAVIE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – The Miami Dolphins made a quick roster move Tuesday that will guarantee outside linebacker Jason Taylor more playing time in the team's last two games.

The Dolphins placed second year outside linebacker Koa Misi on injured reserve Tuesday putting an end to a disappointing season for him.

Misi had a solid rookie campaign that included 4.5 sacks and 28 total tackles, but disappointed in 2011 with just 26 tackles and one sack for the season.

Misi hasn't started every game in a season yet. He played in 12 games this season and started just nine of them.

Also Tuesday, the Dolphins signed rookie quarterback Pat Devlin off the team's practice squad and onto the active roster. Devlin was an undrafted college free agent this season and made the Fins' practice squad on July 28, 2011.

Devlin played college ball for the Delaware Blue Hens, which also produced starting Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.
