Bicyclist Struck, Killed On Miami Street

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A person on a bicycle was struck and killed early Tuesday morning on a Miami Street.

Miami police spokesman Det. Willie Moreno said the accident happened near the intersection of NW 28th Street and 22nd Avenue.

The driver of the red SUV who hit the bicyclist stayed on the scene until police arrived.

Moreno did not release the name of the person who died or say what charges, if any, would be filed against the driver.
