Raiders' Seymour Fined $30K For Punching Dolphins' Incognito

OAKLAND, Calif. (CBS4/AP) — Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour has been fined $30,000 by the NFL for throwing a punch during a 34-14 road loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

The league announced the fine Friday.

The incident occurred with the Dolphins driving for a score in the third quarter. Seymour took a swing at Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito and was immediately ejected.

Last year, Seymour was ejected and fined $25,000 for hitting Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the helmet. He also was fined $7,500 for a hit on New England's Tom Brady this year and had at least two other fines for on-field incidents in 2009.
