Urban Meyer Bowl Could Be In Works

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The allure of college football bowl games is that you will get to see great matchups of teams that don't usually play. It turns out the Gator Bowl wants to kick things up a notch further.

According to Dave Hyde of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, it appears that the Gator Bowl is planning to invite the Florida Gators and the Ohio State Buckeyes for this year's game.

If that ends up being the matchup, which ESPN.com is also projecting, it will make for some interesting television.

Many Florida Gators fans are still quite angry over former head coach Urban Meyer taking over the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The potential bowl matchup will let Florida fans unleash their wrath on any Ohio State fans brave enough to make the trek to the game.

But, Gators fans won't be able to let their full wrath loose because Meyer won't be on the sidelines for the game coaching the Buckeyes.
